And it starts

They say planning a wedding is stressful work and I didn't believe a word of it. At All. However, after a zillion phone calls between churches, reception venues, family, etc. I'm exhausted! I do believe that we finally gotten it all confirmed, there are just a few things to tidy up and then we'll have an "official" date, yeah!

Although Mike thinks I'm nuts for trying to get this squared away so soon, I know I wanted a fall wedding, and being 9 months out from that time frame, it's important to secure a date at least for the church and the venue. I can wait months on other details like favors and what my garter (do I even need one) is going to look like.

You should plan the venue asap. From there, you can get a date set. Remember, you still need to book the preacher and DJ/Music! They get booked pretty quickly as well. Everything else will fall into place after that. (FYI: Costco can do awesome invitations for a really great price.)

Are you getting married in Michigan or Seattle?
